MAPLE BACON ICE CREAM

🥓INGREDIENTS:
- 1 ½ cups whole milk
- 12 tbsp. heavy cream
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ½ tsp. kosher salt
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- ½ tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. maple flavoring
- 1 tbsp. corn syrup
- ½ tbsp. bacon grease (optional)
- ½ cup. crumbled bacon

🍳INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1:
In a saucepan, whisk milk, cream, corn syrup, brown sugar, bacon grease, and salt over medium heat.
Step 2:
Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp milk until smooth. Boil mixture for 2 minutes, whisking often.
Step 3:
Remove from heat, whisk in cornstarch mix. Return to heat until bubbling. Stir in vanilla and maple flavoring, cool 20 minutes, strain, chill 6 hours.
Step 4:
Churn in ice cream maker, add bacon, freeze 4-6 hours.
