🥓INGREDIENTS:
- 8 oz block cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 c. shredded pepper jack cheese
- clove garlic, minced
- 1 tsp bacon grease
- 1 tsp.salt
- Freshly cracked black pepper
- 12 jalapeños
- 12 slices bacon, halved
🍳INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded pepper jack cheese, minced garlic, and bacon grease. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
Step 2:
Halve the jalapeños lengthwise, then use a spoon to remove the seeds and veins. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture. Wrap each filled jalapeño with a halved slice of bacon.
Step 3:
Place the wrapped jalapeños on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven until the bacon is crispy and the peppers are tender, about 35- 40 minutes.
